COMMENT- if more people thought like you, would there be any loneliness in the world? its quite ironic how, even though loneliness is the easiest ailment to cure, there are still lonely people in the world. people who fail to look past the facades of others surely will not expose themselves to a healthy variety of different personality flavours. those types of people only bring suffering to the world.
Truthfully, I only partly understand this comment, maybe because it seems to be just a comment generally. I guess you can classify loneliness as an "ailment," but quite truthfully, looks are looks. When we strip down all of what society has became, we are left with issues that almost have nothing to do with facades and what not. At the end of the day, what causes 'suffering' is truly the savagery and evils of human nature itself. ( Lord of the Flies!) The way I see it, loneliness sucks, but it is not that unbearable of a feeling. We will feel alone, always. Sometimes, we will even learn to adapt as people and will deal with it, although it is depressing & etc.  It does not cause suffering.. true suffering is abuse, starvation, pain, and poverty. But loneliness? It is just a state of mind. I feel that true suffering are physical and mental states. We can not truly escape from suffering, we will at least be left with trauma. In the end, Loneliness is quite easily done with. Even if you are stuck to a person you feel no attraction towards, they will grow on you. You will eventually be okay, and that hole in your heart will eventually close up, or just become forgotten. Suffering is suffering, we will not have words to describe this, it is merely a part of humans in nature. It is a cause higher and bolder than us all, and that human civilization will not, ever, be able to escape from this 'ailment.'

I may have exaggerated, but loneliness can't be disregarded so easily because its a major concern, considering our society where we are not often exposed to major grievances such as poverty or abuse, which by far make loneliness seem like a petty offense. Suffering was a completely inappropriate word to use, but what about all the lonely people, where do they all belong? Loneliness will lead to depression, as some individuals will find it hard to find someone that cares about them, whether it be from looks or character flaws. Because they cannot find relief from loneliness, they are likely to relieve themselves of life, even, which could have easily been avoided.
