Think of all of the stuff that is weighing you down and getting in the way. Not just the things, but the habits, the attitudes, and the people. In 10 years, will you remember what you’re fretting about? In 20 years, will anyone care? Get rid of all that clutter.
Day by day I'm starting to realize that all that I want might be a little bit too much to dream of, and that if I really did like something, I wouldn't need to hesitate and question myself. Sure, there isn't actually such a thing as 'peer pressure' & your decisions are all on you, there is always the matter of influences. But when it comes down to it, its just that you gotta do YOU.
Be the first-rate version of you, rather than the second-rate version of someone else.Another thing I wanted to talk about is physical appearances. Okay, I'm noticing that nobody would ever date or see someone who they are not physically attracted too, I used to think that was just being shallow until one day someone said to me that it's not being shallow. It's just human nature. We all want what is pleasing, and especially to the eye. Being shallow is automatically disapproving of something wonderful just because it is not pleasing to the eye. But when it comes to love, I think its kind of different. We can't be attracted to someone we don't find attractive.. It's just how we are.
